A highly versatile, detail-focussed music maker, Bobby Goulder performs and creates scores and recordings for theatre, studio, and live entertainment settings. His career has taken him to venues such as the National Theatre, Royal Albert Hall, Adelphi Theatre, Cadogan Hall, and to tours and festivals across four continents. His work has been featured on Classic FM, Decca Records, BBC One, Radio 1, 3, 4 and 5Live, Comedy Central and Sky, and he has worked on sessions at Abbey Road, Air, RAK and Snap Studios.
Bobby is registered blind with a genetic retinal condition called Stargardt's Macular Dystrophy which prevents him from sight-reading in real time and carrying out many everyday tasks. However, this gives him a unique opportunity to approach music differently and has helped his aural skills develop to an extraordinarily high level. Read more...
He holds a 1st-class BA in Music from Magdalen College, Oxford University where he achieved the top mark in Composition under Toby Young (2015).
